Mission Statement
The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to create and provide recreation, leisure, and community activities in order to promote public well being and a quality of life for our youths, adults, and senior citizens.
Overview
The Parks and Recreation Department improves the quality of life for Pearsall citizens by maintaining:
- 4 City Parks on approximately 32 acres
- 9/10 miles of a jogging trail
- Our Sports Athletic Complex
- Our Public Library
The Department maintains and schedules the use of the Sports Athletic Complex as well as the use of the parks for special community activities. The Parks and Recreation Department also develops and manages various sports tournaments and special events during the year.
Pearsall City Parks & Locations
Pearsall manages and operates 4 city parks.
Polo Patino Park - 147 W Davila St, Pearsall, TX 78061
Moreno's Park - 415 W Brazos St, Pearsall, TX 78061
Victor Treviño Sports Complex - 811 W Frio St, Pearsall, TX 78061
Centennial Park - 101 E Trinity St, Pearsall, TX 78061

Sunday – Thursday 6:00 am – 10:00 pm
Friday 6am – 12:00 am
Saturday 6am-1:00 am
two Splash Pads
Located at the Sports Complex and Polo Patino Park. CLOSED due to water restrictions.
