Notice of COP Public Hearing 2018-2019 Fiscal Year Budget

The City Council of the City of Pearsall, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at City of Pearsall City Hall, 215 S. Ash St, Pearsall, TX 78061.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to consider adopting the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2018 and ending September 30, 2019. All citizens of the City of Pearsall will be given the opportunity to provide written or oral comments and to ask questions concerning the Proposed Annual Budget.

This budget will raise the same amount of revenue from property taxes as last year’s budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $14,914.00.

The proposed budget for the fiscal year of October 1, 2018 – September 30, 2019 includes a property tax rate of $0.8910 per $100 of taxable value – which is same as the fiscal year 2018 rate.
